Credit card debt is easy for college students to accrue. Back in 1999 the average debt per college student, was roughly $2,500 on credit cards vs 2009, where CNN tv reports a whopping $4,300+ per college student.
This is almost double from 10 years ago, which is out of control. Especially students that do not have money to help pay for school, are able to take loans out, where they shouldn’t have to use a credit cards, but still did all these past years.
University college debt comes from buying many things students can’t recall. So now that the market has crashed and there thousands of college grads out of work, the consumers ” college students and grads for this matter”, have now learned to not abuse credit cards so much.
