According to the news – On Monday Indiana Tech announced that they will expand their free college program for adults in their main campus in Fort Wayne and to satellite campus across the state.
In a statement Indiana Tech said that initially the program was tested in Munster and will be available at other locations later this month.
The program is College Preparation Courses: A Free Program for Interested Adults which offer courses in mathematics, communications and writing, and computer skills. The school said it is open to any adult in the community, space permitting.
The school receives $18,000 grant from the Ball Venture Fund which helps them to expand the program. The program is offered through Indiana Tech’s College of Professional Studies and the registration of the program will be first come, first served basis. The program will be available at the main Fort Wayne campus and the following Indiana Tech satellite facilities: Elkhart, Kendallville, Mishawaka, Munster, New Albany, Plainfield, Fishers, Greenwood, Huntington, Indianapolis, and Warsaw.
