The Johnston Community College Foundation raised $23,163 at its sixth annual Dollars for Scholars fundraiser held at the Smithfield home of Leo and Helen Daughtry last May 12.
The fundraiser is for supporting scholarship, educational and outreach programs for the college.
According to the President of the board of directors of the JCC Foundation, Earl Worley the record support will enhances educational experience for all Johnston Community College Students. He also said that Johnston Community College Foundation is very grateful to donors and volunteers who support Johnston Community College through the sixth annual Dollars for Scholars event.
The event for this year is raised highest amount ever, which makes it success for their students and education programs.
