University Love Connection

According to source, Students at both Minnesota State University in Mankato and the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities got rare half-snow days as the schools canceled classes citing safety.

The U of M cancelled all classes occurring before noon due to weather and potentially hazardous commutes on Monday. MSU cancelled all night classes after 6 p.m. due to continuing snowfall and dangerous travel conditions.

For MSU students, the cancellation includes all on and off-campus classes, including those held at 7700 France. Online classes will be held at the discretion of the instructor.

Despite the class cancellations, MSU said the university will remain open, unlike the U of M, which closed its campus before reopening at noon.
