According to the news – The Northwest College in Powell will ask Wyoming Community College Commission to take consideration of their proposal for new $14 million laboratory facility and classroom.
This past week Northwest College Board voted to submit their proposal, saying that the college will provide 10 percent of the project’s cost.
The proposed building of Northwest College will provide a space for their lab for their nursing program, medical library and for firearms simulator for the law enforcement program.
It will also include seminar rooms, 13 classrooms and office space for their faculty.
Several departments could move into the building which includes nursing, humanities and communications, social science and education, The project has been part of college’s facilities master plan since 2007.
