Saurashtra University offering new courses

According to the news – Saurashtra University in collaboration with New Mexico University and UN’s global health programme will start a global health research centre.

The new research excellence centre will come under the pharmacy department of the university. The centre will have new technical courses like medical laboratory technology, telemedicine, radiological technology, medical transcription, ophthalmic assistant, and dialysis technician.

The decision was taken at the recently meeting of Saurashtra University’s Board of University Teaching (BUT) recent meeting. BUT is known as a regulatory body of the university and it meets twice or thrice in a year under the chairmanship of the vice-chancellor (V-C).
