The Culinary Institute of America renews president’s contract

According to the news – College’s board of trustees announced that president Tim Ryan of The Culinary Institute of America will still serve another ten years.

Board chairman Richard Bradley, summarized the trustees’ unanimous decision, in a written statement:
President Tim Ryan is a certified master chef. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of New Haven and his doctorate in education from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the college fifth president who led the degree-granting culinary school for a decade, stewarding the college through a period of growth.

President Tim Ryan said in a press release that “Although proud of their accomplishments over the last 10 years, they have many exciting plans ahead which will continue to position the CIA at the forefront of culinary education.”
