University of California, San Diego is the place where top performance and humanities will get connected with the support from National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and Department of Energy (DOE).

UC San Diego Software Studies Initiative receives 330,000 hours of time on DOE supercomputers to research more information about the cultural analytics potential in thinking about the patterns in Databases of Cultural Images and Video. The award is known as part of induction award from a latest Humanities High Performance Computing Program started and made possible by DOE and NEH.
