University of Oklahoma got number 1 spot in College Football Coaches’ Poll

According to the news- University of Oklahoma got the spot number one in the preseason college football coaches’ poll, which is release by USA Today. They receive 42 votes out of 59 members on the panel.

The second place goes to University of Alabama, the third place goes to University of Oregon, the fourth place goes to Louisiana State University and the fifth place goes to Florida State University.

Since 2000 University of Oklahoma played in Bowl Championship Series title game for four times. In 2003, they receive the top spot at the preseason coaches’ poll for the very first time.

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said in a statement that it’s an honor to be ranked No. 1 any time, but we understand that the preseason ranking means very little compared with what it will mean months from now.

According to source: Barry Switzer always has called himself a bootlegger’s boy. Even named his book that. Frank Switzer apparently was in the illegal alcohol business. Now his son has joined the legal alcohol business.

Switzer, the first kind University of Oklahoma football coach, has built Switzer Family Wineries, a type of wine coming initially from within the Napa Valley, written by National Republic.

Switzer held a wine-tasting event Wednesday evening at Benvenuti’s in Norman to start his wine business.

Switzer stated his old friend, Patsy Benso, convinced him 20-two-and-a-half decades ago to stop hard liquor.
