Most awaited trick or treat again!

Methodist ministers and laymen founded University of the Pacific in 1851 in Santa Clara, California.

University of the Pacific will host its 12th annual Safe Trick or Treat event from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The event is free and open to families with children 11 years old and younger.

The tours will begin at the Atchley Clock Tower near Pacific’s Benerd School of Education and end at the DeRosa University Center lawn, where a carnival with booths, activities and snacks will take place. Pacific students, faculty, staff and alumni will hand out candy.

University of the Pacific Dating

University of the Pacific will have its Alumni House. It will break ground at Alex and Jeri House on Sept.18. Alex and Jeri Vereschagin, graduated from University of the Pacific 50 years ago.

The ground breaking ceremony symbolizes the importance all the University’s alumni to the past, present and future campus life, according to a press release.

The ceremony, an invitation-only event, will be held at the site of the future building, in the middle of the South Campus lawn, just east of the Long Theatre.
