University Love Connection

According to source, Both Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo announced their upcoming football schedules today.

Bowling Green will open the season on Thurs., Sept. 1 at Idaho in a rematch of the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl. (This game was previously scheduled for Sept. 3)

Bowling Green will host Toledo on Oct. 15. The contest with the Rockets will be the first time since 1999 that the two teams have not faced each other in November.

The games with NIU and OU will begin at 8 p.m. All other kickoff times will be announced at a later date.

Saturday, Oct. 15 – TOLEDO (Homecoming)

Tuesday, Nov. 8 – NIU, 8 p.m. ET (Armed Forces Appreciation Night)
Wednesday, Nov. 16 – OHIO, 8 p.m. ET (United Way Night)
Friday, Nov. 25 – at Buffalo

UT opens up its season at the Glass Bowl on Sept. 1 against New Hampshire, then plays at Ohio State and vs. No. 7 Boise State.
