According to source – Canterbury graduate and Valparaiso College newcomer Tabitha Gerardot is going to be discussing her encounters in the women’s basketball team’s visit to China on the blog.
Gerardot, who led the Cavaliers to three state championships, and teammates Betsy Adams and Mallory Ladd will check in at blogs.valpo.edu/chinabasketball/ during the 10-day trip.
The Crusaders leave August. 6 for that trip, including three games and basketball camps with Chinese players. They will have its games in Hangzhou. Valparaiso will wrap the trip with a trip to Beijing, where excursions are scheduled to determine Tiananmen Square and also the Great Wall.
The NCAA enables teams taking part in summer time worldwide tours to have 10 practices prior to the trip. Valpo started practicing July 20.

A graduate of Wachusett Regional High School, Schur coached an inner city basketball league for children, and started at Valparaiso this fall to pursue a sports management degree. He is the son of Joel and Loret Schurand.
