According to the news – On Thursday Gov. Bob McDonnell is surrounded by students from Virginia colleges and universities while signing The Virginia Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2011.
Top Jobs law is what they call the legislation. It is because supporters say it will prepare students for the top jobs of the 21st century.
The main objective is to provide 100,000 more college degrees over the next 15 years. According to Governor McDonnell the legislation, passed with overwhelming bi-partisan support, will increase capacity at public and private colleges and universities, increase graduation and transfer rates, and provide more financial aid to students.
