According to the News – On Wednesday, Washington College announced that they will have three new assitant coaches that will join the staff of head coach Jeff Shirk. The three new assistant coaches are Corey Bulken, Shayne Lynch and Larry Kline.
Head Coach Jeff Shirk said in a written statement that he is very excited to have these three young coaches join the staff. All of them bring impressive backgrounds, great work ethic, and specific skill sets that will be instrumental in helping us reach our goals.”
Corey Bulken Bulken completed his senior season at Le Moyne, Shayne Lynch was a four-year letterwinner at Wesley College and Larry Kline spent last season as an assistant coach at Binghamton. The three will join Head Coach Jeff Shirk together with the returning assistant coach J.L. Reppert on the Shoremen’s staff.

According to source, Fewer Washington state students would be admitted to the state’s universities, and more high-paying out-of-state students would be accepted. Hundreds of faculty and staff jobs would be cut, and the time it takes to get a four-year degree would grow by several semesters or more, in effect raising the cost of going to college.
That’s the grim scenario painted by the presidents of Washington’s three largest universities as they outlined the impact of the latest, most severe cutbacks proposed in higher education in letters to the Legislature this week.
Legislators have asked university and college presidents to sketch out the impact if the state has to cut higher education by $180 million more than the $600 million the governor has already proposed for the next two years. The bigger cuts could be necessary if there’s another large drop in projected tax collections in next month’s revenue forecast, as some legislators fear.
