WWU to host career fair Feb. 10

Job seekers looking for ways to connect directly with employers are invited to attend Western Washington University’s Winter Career Fair, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10 in the Mac Gym of the Wade King Student Recreation Center.


Admission to the fair is free.

Sponsored by the WWU Career Services Center, the Winter Career Fair is a major recruiting event that allows students and the general public to meet with hiring managers from a wide range of employers, including private-sector companies, non-profit organizations and government agencies.

his event provides a valuable opportunity for students and alumni of all majors to discuss internships and job openings with participating organizations. For those who may be uncertain about their career goals or options, the Winter Career Fair is an excellent resource for conducting job market research.

Participating employers include Aerotek, Fisher Communications, Fred Meyer, Logos Bible Software, Northwestern Mutual, Pacific Capital Resource Group, Peace Corps, Port of Seattle, Rite Aid and Verizon Wireless.
