Boyd Cultural Arts Center at Wilmington College

According to source – Wilmington College received a $100,000 grant for growing using technology in the teacher preparation programs at Wilmington City, Hillsboro City and Clinton-Massie Local schools.

The eTech Ohio Commission presented 11 Ohio schools and colleges with funds designated to improve appropriate utilization of information and communication technology by kindergarten through twelfth grade students.

WC’s teacher education program will purchase equipment and software, and coordinate practicing pre-service teacher candidates as well as in-service professionals. The intent would be to prepare future instructors in using technology tools and curricula throughout their student teaching projects in partner schools.
